BIOGRAPHY
Carlos Rosas was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He has a bachelor’s degree in System Engineering and is also a commercial pilot. Even though he has a quiet tech background, he was always fascinated for still photography and the power of a good composition.
He moved to Los Angeles, CA. in 2013, where he discovered that he wanted to become a Director Of Photography(DP). Carlos graduated as a cinematographer from New York Film Academy (Burbank, CA) in 2018. Since then, Carlos has collaborated in several national and international projects including Feature Films, Short Films, Documentaries, Music Videos, and Commercials.
One of his main strength as a DP is creating the best balance between lighting, composition, and camera movements to serve the story.
Additionally, he became a highly skilled Steadicam Operator, Phantom Tech, and Motion Control Robotic Arm Operator.
